Our Mission
Our mission is to help children bring forth and develop their existing talents in an environment that is unique, creative, safe, developmentally supportive, and filled with love. We aim to spark children's interest in learning, support their learning through play, and significantly contribute to the development of cognitive, social, sensory, self-care, language, and psychomotor skills. We also aim to assist our children in healthy communication with their surroundings.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become one of Turkey's finest preschool educational institutions by focusing on holistic education. We aim to use all our professional knowledge to make positive impacts on children's lives, instilling self-confidence, harmony with themselves and their surroundings, happiness, success, health, empathy, sharing, sound decision-making skills, open-mindedness, and a sense of cooperation and solidarity. Our goal is to nurture children who are well-rounded, self-assured, and capable of contributing positively to their lives and communities.

Our Founders
Burcu Erdem Çakar
Burcu Erdem Çakar, who became a partner in Mutlu Panda Preschool in 2018, took on the role of School Principal for Mutlu Panda Preschool in 2016. As of 2018, Çakar became a partner at Mutlu Panda Preschool and in 2019, she became one of the founding partners of Mi Casa International Montessori Preschool.
After graduating from Boğaziçi University's Preschool Teaching Department, Çakar completed her master's degree in Education Programs at Yıldız Technical University. In addition to working as a teacher in various private schools, she has carried out international work by working as an education coordinator in various institutions and serving as a School Representative in the ASHOKA "Changemaker Schools" group.
Before joining Mutlu Panda Preschool, she was involved in designing and developing preschool education programs and teacher training at the Innovative Learning Center. Throughout her education and academic life, Çakar has conducted research and published articles on Alternative Education Philosophies such as Reggio Emilia and Montessori. She has also provided consultancy on these topics.
Çakar has completed Emel Wilbrant Çakıroğlu's 3-6-year Montessori Educator Training Certificate Program and has also completed forest preschool entry training. She continues to participate in forest school certificate programs. In addition, Çakar has been involved in various projects related to child development, such as the Kıvılcım Project, Pembe Ev Project, and SHÇEK Project.
Burcu Erdem Çakar is married and has two daughters named Jeyan and Füruğ.

Gülay Şengül Yağmur
Gülay Şengül Yağmur joined the management team of Mi Casa International Montessori Preschool in 2021.
Graduating from Çukurova University with a degree in English Language Teaching in 2001, Gülay Şengül Yağmur has been working in the field of education as a teacher and administrator for over 20 years.
Until 2007, she worked as an English teacher in various schools under the Ministry of National Education in Adana, Ankara, and Istanbul. Afterward, she moved to the United States with her family. She earned a master's degree in 'Instruction and Leadership in Education' from Duquesne University. Gülay Şengül Yağmur specializes in second language instruction, early foreign language acquisition, and the integration of technology into second language education. She has numerous works related to programming and curriculum development in English language education.
As a mother of two, Gülay Şengül Yağmur returned to Turkey and, in search of an English language education for her children, founded BrightKids International Preschool to keep her children's English communication skills active. Established in 2011, BrightKids Preschool is now among the leading preschools in Istanbul with four branches.
In 2021, with the aim of establishing a mutual collaboration with Mi Casa International Montessori Preschool, one of the schools in Istanbul that best applies the Montessori philosophy at the highest standards, Gülay Şengül Yağmur and BrightKids Preschools joined the management of Mi Casa.
